The Queen
The Mistlands boss, summoned deep in an Infested Mine with the Sealbreaker and the Giant King's Hair.
The Queen is the sixth Forsaken and the first boss of the modern endgame. Unlike the open-altar bosses before her, she waits at the bottom of an Infested Mine, so reaching her is part of the challenge. The Mistlands is also where magic arrives, and her power rewards a mage build.
Where and when
The Queen lives in the Mistlands, the sixth biome, a dark land blanketed in mist where you need a Wisplight to see. You fight her after Yagluth, once you have carapace gear or Eitr-weave gear and a staff. She is summoned inside an Infested Mine rather than on the surface.
How to summon
You need the Sealbreaker, assembled from 9 Sealbreaker fragments, plus the Giant King’s Hair. Fragments come from Infested Mines across the Mistlands, so you assemble the Sealbreaker as you explore. With the Sealbreaker and the Giant King’s Hair in hand, use them at her sealed chamber deep in an Infested Mine to start the fight.
How to fight it
The Queen is fast and hits in a tight space, so the arena matters as much as your gear. She charges, sweeps the room, and spawns Seekers to swarm you. Build pillars or use the terrain to break her charges and keep some distance. Both melee and magic work: carapace weapons or a Fireball and Frostbolt staff loadout backed by Eitr food. Bring strong HP and stamina foods, and an Eitr food if you are casting. Keep the adds under control so they do not pin you while she charges.
Prepare the chamber before you commit. Set down portals, drop pillars for cover, and stock the area, because once the seal breaks there is no easy retreat from the bottom of an Infested Mine.
Drops and Forsaken Power
The Queen drops her trophy along with magic materials. Hang the trophy on the Sacrificial Stones to activate her Forsaken Power: improved Eitr and mage regeneration, which directly powers the magic builds the Mistlands introduces. This is the tier where Eitr-weave armor, staffs, and the Black Forge come online.
